Ford EscapeThe Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.
So it is currently on a rail car making its way to Seattle, should be at the dealer this monday which the dealer confirmed, they will do dealer prep, plates, etc and I have scheduled my pick up for next Friday afternoon when I will turn in my trusted 2004 vintage Escape XLT for my new LIMITED! I can't wait, I am really excited about having SYNC, park assist, rear view camera, Heated leather and a sunroof!
This is my Company vehicle and I am amazed they sprung for the LIMITED! The main reason they went this route was for the rear view back camera for safety reasons, oh yeah - my benefit! Bring on the LIMITED!!

I will do, I have continually second guessed my color choice of black, I think it absolutely looks the best on the current body style of the Escape, of course I have not yet seen Steel Blue, but I had a 2006 for a while which was Norsea Blue, which is kind of similar.
We have a pearl white Acura, A silverstone S2000 (darker silver), so I narrowed it down to White suede or black and the dark side pulled me in, I have had two previous black vehicles and know the added "love" they take to maintain, which I am fully prepared for. Bring on the Zaino Z5!

Please don't take any long trips until you check the ATF.
The process will take 20 or 30 minutes, and might save you some headaches. Be sure to follow all seven steps.
Just to be safe, it's a good idea to check all the fluids on a new ride..
I also like to check the tire pressure too.
If your ATF is too high or too low and you take it back to the dealer,
you should repeat the check when you get your Escape back home.
Just in case someone made a mistake..

Thanks Rich, I was able to download the owners manual and have been reading up. My Escape will not be towed nor will I tow anything with it. I will recheck fluids when I get her home on Friday!

I just sold my 2006 "F3" five speed, front wheel driive 2.3 4 cyl. Got a 2010 XLT Sport under CARS program (had a 85 VW Vanagon w only 3rd gear) cant wait to drive 240 hp 3.0, thats 15 more hp than my 1987 LX 5.0
Well, it's not going to feel like your Mustang. Your pony car actually has a lot more power in the form of torque. I'm not complaining about the Escape's power, just pointing out that is responds in a different manner.
