Ford EscapeThe Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.
I am having trouble with my 2007 Escape. I was driving on the highway and without any sign I had no transmission, everything stopped 1, 2, drive and overdrive and reverse. The only thing working is park, and it is an automatic. Is there a sensor that could cause this and has anyone had the same trouble? The vehicle has 106,200 km on it. I look forward to everyone's comments.
Yes the pump seized and cut the shaft off! They would not cover the warranty on the SUV, said I was over at the 100k mark? i paid for extended warranty and still had none. Guess thats the mark for extended warranty at 100k? The SUV still has like a bit of snap sometimes when you pull out a certain way, not sure whats doing it. I probably will not buy a Escape again. Nice truck but seems to be very delicate as a 4X4. Cost me $1200 to get it fixed.
