Ford Escape The Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.

Default idle vibration on 2010 Escape v6 AT

Just picked up my 2010 escape v6 a few days ago. I've noticed a slight vibration at idle (gear is at "D", on brake), if I put the gear in "N", or release the brake, the vibration goes away. Does anyone have the same feel? Only 100 miles on it, other than this problem, I like this small SUV and very powerful v6.

Default update

No vibration while the car comes to a stop at uphill or downhill road. Could it be the ATF level problem? Anyone has the same feel?

I've noticed the same vibration in my 04 Escape. Just bought it in August.
I mentioned it to the used car shop I bought it from while having an oil change done. No real answers given . I'd like the input of other owners too .
