Ford Escape The Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.

Default Stuck CD

I put a CD in while driving (there may have been one in alerady or perhaps I put it in upside down?) and now can't eject or play. The display reads Err. Any suggestions on an alternative way to eject or is it a matter of "radio repair" and if so where?
Thanks.

I'd think most any mobile electronics shop... Dashworks, Classic Stereo, Mickey Schorr, etc...

Default That happened to mine.

I have that happen all the time in my Escape. I get the cd out by pushing the cd up with something. I think when it gets hot they stick inside there. Every once in while I will have a cd stick in there, but I am always able to get out by using something to pop it up. Hope this helps.

Default Tape

That happens to me fairly regularly. I keep a roll of scotch tape in my console and when a CD gets stuck I pull it out by grabbing it with a strip of tape. I use a credit card to stick the tape to the label side of the CD and gently pull it out.

Mine used to do that also. I had Ford replace the entire CD system. I have had no trouble since.

I had to have my CD player completely replaced because I used the scratch protectors on my CD's. They all got stuck and then the FORD place had to send me my cd's that were still stuck in it.
