Blowing Power Steering Hose

HI all. I have a 2002 Escape, and my power steering hose blew this winter. It was very cold (-35C and lower). I had it replaced, the hose "popped off", had it fixed again, popped off again. I'm told that it's a cheap way of building a vehicle, just clamping on a power steering hose, but that's the way they do it. Anyone else have this problem? If this is going to happen every winter, I'm selling my truck, as I need something dependable. Other than this, I absolutely love it, and it bothers me that this is happening.

The high pressure side should be hydraulic hose, the return can have a clamp because its just "suction"... If that hose is blowing off you should check for blockage in the pump..
