Ford Escape The Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.

Default Fog Light Installation

I have an 06 escape and I am installing new fog lights. I cut the hole in the bumper but there isnt anything behind the bumper to mount them to. Has anyone installed fog lights on the escape and if so how did you mount them?

Mine came with fog lights and they are screwed on to the bumper which had mounting bosses on it.

Don't know if they use a different bumper for the F.Light model though.

you actually cut a hole in your bumper without even checking to see if there was a mounting surface?

i have an 08...but the 06 you cut that hole out...and there should be 4 taps on the back that the fog lamps screw into. best bet would be to take the bumper off. hope that helps
