Ford Escape The Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.

Default Ice buildup on windshield

Just went through a ridiculous winter here in colorado. Bought a 2006 escape in January. The defroster for the front windshield cannot keep up. I'm sweating and ice dams up under wipers and on both sides of the windshield. Anyone else experience this problem.

yea actually i went through some freezing rain i know that sounds bad but i got an older car that barely blows that keeps up better then my escape. I had to stop like every 20 mins. and scrape.

same thing happened going over teton pass when it was puking snow. only ever happened near the top which is about 8500 feet. i think the escape might not be able to handle everything nature throws at it.
