 2007 XLT anti-theft malfunction
Problem misreported. Anti-theft icon by default is supposed to flash every two seconds under normal operation. The icon goes off when the key is inserted in the ignition. The icon flashes quickly when tampering is detected. The problem we had was a drained battery. There is so much electronic junk in these new cars that leaving one in storage for more than a month can lead to a dead battery. Battery charger recommended.
