Ford Escort Ford Escort ZX2 is a hot-looking compact coupe with a rakish design. Yet its handsome interior reveals a roomy back seat and surprisingly large trunk. ZX2 provides responsive handling and good road manners and its engine delivers decent power. At the same time, the ZX2 is a practical car, with plenty of room in the back seats for friends.

Default 93 1.8 escort eec test plug??

I have a Check Engine light on and need to read my codes. My car don't have the normal plug to test with. I have the tester and have used it for several years but this car has a different DIAGNOSTIC box (shown in the pictures attached). The light was intermitant at first. It would go out while driving and I could feel the engine hesitate and then smooth out. The light comes on now after about 1 second after engine start up and stays on all the time. If anyone has seen this test box before, please tell me how to check it. Can I short 2 pins and read flashing lights?

I'm not sure, but that looks like the Mazda port to me.

OK, I'll start looking at Mazda info. I'm glad I got the pics in the thread, now people won't think I'm crazy.
