discogreg Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 1	1998 Escort Question I just bought a 98 Escort Sport to use as a gas saver, when i got it it needed a tuneup, so i got new plugs and wires and an air filter. i noticed that the rubber grommet that goes around the PCV Valve was ripped in half, so I took it off to get a new one. Go figure no parts store has the rubber peice just the PCV Valve its self. When I start the car it seems to start better then before but it wont stay running, it idles very rough and dies. Is this a symptom of the PCV valve missing? Once I finally track one of the rubber peices down to replace it, would this go away? Also would anyone know where i could find one besides the Stealership?
