Ford Escort Ford Escort ZX2 is a hot-looking compact coupe with a rakish design. Yet its handsome interior reveals a roomy back seat and surprisingly large trunk. ZX2 provides responsive handling and good road manners and its engine delivers decent power. At the same time, the ZX2 is a practical car, with plenty of room in the back seats for friends.

Default 99 ford escort dash lights

My daughters dash lights including radio lights went out and we can't figure out what to check next. We checked fuses, the dimmer switch and under the engine. Does somebody know what else we could check? She's been driving for a week without instrument lights and I (mommy) don't want her driving like that. Any suggestion is well appreciated. Thanks.

Did you check the fuses with the headlamp switch in the on position? Some vehicles pnly power up the fuse when the light are on.

Default Another problem

Thanks for your reply. Now the parking lights in the back and front don't work and the tail lights (when the headlights are on). Yes, we checked the fuse when the head lights were on. Could it be the headlight switch gone bad? Are they all on the same relay?

Default We got a escort/tracer book

It has some wiring diagrams in it. I know where the fuse box is under the engine. You think it's next to that? Thanks for your suggestions.
