Ford EscortFord Escort ZX2 is a hot-looking compact coupe with a rakish design. Yet its handsome interior reveals a roomy back seat and surprisingly large trunk. ZX2 provides responsive handling and good road manners and its engine delivers decent power. At the same time, the ZX2 is a practical car, with plenty of room in the back seats for friends.
alright so i was driving my car around last night in some really nasty weather and it was fine. i got home and went inside to eat. came back outside, got in the car, got to accessories and it was fine, as soon as i cranked, complete power loss. now the car makes a buzzing noise from under the seat, guessing there's an ecu there. if i crank the key to accessory the buzzing stops, if i put the headlights on there's a horrible buzzing noise from the cluster. did something get wet maybe in that bad weather? i know the check engine light was on for some sensor, i forgot what code it was giving up. also i noticed the lights were brighter when i was on the gas instead of idling...any ideas.
nah i checked the connection it was fine. i was able to bypass the start by rolling down a hill, and the first time it started, everything was going crazy. the wipers were going like crazy, but they wren't on. then the car died. the second time around, it was fine. everyhting worked fine, until i put the AC on, then it just died. it still won't start. it's definently NOT that battery. ;/
