Ford Escort Ford Escort ZX2 is a hot-looking compact coupe with a rakish design. Yet its handsome interior reveals a roomy back seat and surprisingly large trunk. ZX2 provides responsive handling and good road manners and its engine delivers decent power. At the same time, the ZX2 is a practical car, with plenty of room in the back seats for friends.

Default 93 ford escort , help me out fellas

Alright here is my basic problem, the other morning when I was driving I fell asleep and went down into the ditch. I jerked the wheel and got back on the road....

However, now when I am driving, specifically noticable when on the freeway doing about 70mph. I will hold my foot on the gas to maintain a speed 70mph for example and then it sounds like I am dropping a cylinder, power will decrease and speed will go down to about 60 mph without moving my foot, this lasts for approx. 10 min or so (varies)then the other cylinder seems like it kicks in and without moving my foot, it goes back up to the original speed. I should aslo include that my gas milage has dropped a couple mpg obviously because of this....

any ideas? could it be a vaccum line that was ripped etc. when I went in the ditch? I looked breifly underneath but didnt see anything obvious, could be there though....

any other ideas?

thanks alot fellas
