98 zx2 if you go slow with the gas it run ok if you start to step it out it fall on it face light is on p01383 vct sensor would that do it i did change the oil in it like it said because of piece of dirt getting up there that is first thing it said to do and it is a price piece just to try

What weight of oil did you use? The most common cause of this code is a bad timing belt or if the timing was done recently, improper installation.
