Sure ! Guaranteed 200 mph now !!

Well, maybe not, but non-Fram filters are less likely to split and dump all of your oil on the ground while your driving 70 mph on the highway.

Already mentioned. Purolator, Wix, Motorcraft in no particular order. Motorcraft are cheap at Walmart.

Another question: I read a guy mentioning in another forum that changing the spark plug wires had significant difference on the performance of the engine. What brand spark plug wires would you recommend?

It is true if you got 100k on original wires.

I buy anything with a lifetime warranty for wires.

I've been using fram on my Festiva for 100,000 miles and on all previous vehicles.

Is fram really that bad for a motor if we change our oil every 3,000 miles?

Is there data to show signficant damage to an engine from using fram and following service recommendations?

Fram was bought out several years ago by another company. Their oil filters were significantly "cost reduced".

Some models were known to have frequent catastrophic failure, resulting in significant engine damage and possible loss of control of the vehicle (can steer when you are on an oil slick)
