 Not good at turning a wrench!
Female with car problems. A guys nightmare right, please help. 02 Ford Escort stalled out and wouldn't start. It's trying to turn over but wont fire. Fuel pump turns on, gas in line at the filter. It's getting spark. Spark plugs have gas on them so I'm assume it's getting gas. The timing belt is fine. Some one told me that it maybe the mass air flow sensor. Said you could bypass it to test it by taking the plugs off the intake tube, that it would start for only a minute if it was fine. If not it wouldn't start. It didn't start. Can someone tell me if this is true and give me your thoughts please. Any direction from here is greatly appreciated. Thanks much!! |
