Ford EscortFord Escort ZX2 is a hot-looking compact coupe with a rakish design. Yet its handsome interior reveals a roomy back seat and surprisingly large trunk. ZX2 provides responsive handling and good road manners and its engine delivers decent power. At the same time, the ZX2 is a practical car, with plenty of room in the back seats for friends.
my parents recently given me a 93' escort for graduating high school. it's in great shape, it's just lacking....balls. I would like to know if it is worth my time and money to upgrade the engine or something. How could I squeeze a little more power out of it?(if possible, haha)
also, the automatic seatbelt thingy won't work on the drivers side, how can i fix this?
help from anyone would be greatly apreciated, thanks.
yeah i think its worth fixing up these cars can look pretty sweet...only few drawbacks, its a cheap car, but modifing it is costly, and some parts are really hard to find. and to fix the seatbelt i had a similiar problem with the passenger side. if the seatbelt clip is stuck on the front of the door next to the steering wheel, then there is a wire dissconnected, it is probly inside the door, luckly the door panel is really easy to take off. just pull apart carefully, and take the nob off the door.
