 New to here and have a few questions
i just bought a 200 zx2 s/r didnt know much about them, i was looking for a cheap driver. i ran across this one that wouldn't idle for 700 buck s so i bought it. I put it on my scanner and it kicked out a cam position sensor code. So 19 bucks later i have a running car. It does have a cracked exhaust manifold. i was wondering if it is much trouble to replace it with a header. The idiots at the local salvage want 85 bucks for a used mainfold. I see on line i can buy one for 43 or a header for 57. so if anyone has swapped in a header and has some input let me know. I am a mechanic by trade so i imagine i can do the work. Just dont want to spend a lot on changing the whole exaust or anything at this time. |
