Radio Key Required :S

i just purchased a ford escort from my local dealer, and the engine cut out on them and they don't know the radio key, so neither do i
can anyone help
the radio type is :3000 traffic
and the serial No. is: M046230

My Escape doesn't require a code, but when I got my Acura they stuck a sticker to the bottom of the ash tray, and then on the Honda, they put it inside the glove box. I actually needed it recently on the Honda, and called the dealer, and they told me they stuck it to the inside of the glove box on all the cars they sell. (Keep that on the down low...) Also, with the Honda it can be retrieved online, I'm not sure if Ford has the equivalent.
