okay well im a 17 yr old kid who just bought him self a 1993 ford escort 2dr 5spd ..... i just want 2 kno what problems i might come into and where should i look for em and if its possible give me sum ideas for the following problems and if u could an estimate of how much money should i save up 2 fix the car and even if its worth keeping....... okay where 2 start
first the engine seems 2 overheat the fan works so i dunt get it
then ma handbreak doesnts let go ..... ma headlights stoped working a couple of dayz a go :S and the clutch i preatty much burned out ma self it still runs but its ma 4th time behind a 5spd car.... also ma breaks seem 2 b a bit on the weak side ... ooo and i noticed a little drop of oil a bit 2 the right wheel and the thing that scares me the most is that the idle doesnt stand still it drops down 2 l ike 800rpm then rises 2 a 1000rpm and when it drops down 2 800 it sounds like its gona shut off but it duznt so should i be worried????? so basicaly how much money should i prepare or should i even bother wit it and also if i get it fixed is it hard 2 find the 1,8 l engine for a good price in good condition ??? and how do u get the stock cassete player off? AND SRRY for the 2 following post im just really tired and i didnt kno thta u can edit the posts....... so i saved u guys the confusion...
