 Shifting problem in 89 ford escort
Hi there I have an 89 ford escort automatic. It doesn't shift into the last gear until 35mph and when it does it's a rough shift most of the time. Also when I come to a stop sometimes it feels like it's going to die. The rpms drop way down and then it returns to normal quickly. It has never died on me, it just feels as if it's going to when I start to come to a stop or I do. Does anyone have any idea on what may be causing either of these problems??
