 97 Ford Escort shifting problem?
Hi guys, my friend owns a 1997 Ford Escort that has been sitting for the past few months. He took the car off the road because the brakes are gone, and the car needs a new water pump and he doesn't have the money to fix it. I told him if I had some time, I'd look into some of the problems for him. He told me today that when he went to start it up, it started fine, and he tried to shift it into a gear, but it wouldn't shift at all. Does anyone here know why it won't shift gears? |
