Default Engine wont stay running
Kids have a 91 Escort. Was running fine, then started run a little rough. It got to the point it would not idle and would die. You had to push on the gas to keep it going. Now its too the point it wont idle and if it gets under 2000 rpm it dies. To start it, you have to push the gas down all the way and keep the r's up over 2000, it runs for about 10-20 seconds then dies again.
any suggestions?

Default It sounds like Vacuum leaks
Typically Most Escorts began to develop Vacuum leaks after about 5 year or so. My Old 95 4door had vacuum leak but not that bad so it dies. Autozone can help you Fixing vacuum leak is a emission think and to be taken lightly it a simple job taking like 2 minutes.
