Someone please help... my 2002 escort just died on me yesterday. I had gone about 100 yds and it acted like it didn't want to accelerate. Then it just died. Cranks but won't turn over. No rattling anywhere, then or now when we try to crank it. Dad checked fuel pump and it's fine. Fuel shut-off switch is fine. We just replaced the timing belt, bolts and tensioner pulley two weeks ago.
Anyone have an idea?
