| 2000 Excursion factory keyless entry code I have a 2002 Excursion and don't know the default code so I can change it to my own code. Does anyone know where they might hide this code on the vehicle. My local dealer wants to charge me just to tell me the code. Thanks for any help any one can provide.
Thank you for your help! |

| I believe you can find it on drivers side fuse panel. And if you read your owners manual you can put in your own code. But if you disconnect the battery you have to reprograme it in again. |

| Any help?? I too have a 2002 Excursion that the dealer that sold to me (non Ford) did not know. I checked the fuse panel, but nothing stuck out as the keyless code. I assume the numbers stamped into the plastic are the part number. Can anyone be more specific about what to look for when looking for this code? |

| I have talked to different Ford dealers and have heard conflicting stories. One said underneath the dash near the stearing column and one said under dash in the center(which is hard to get to). Either way, If you can find your ECM, it will be on it. 5 number code.
Good luck and sorry if im no help to you. |

| If you look under the dash on the drivers side somewhere between the brake pedal and the side of the truck you should see the brain box for the factory alarm system on that box you will see a five digit number that will be the factory code. There are alot of numbers on it but this will be the only five digit number number should be right about in the middle of the box...You will have to lay on your back and look up.. |

| For the 2002 Excursions its under the dash in the center, behind radio, and you will need a mirror and a flashlight. |
