Ford ExcursionIn terms of size, the Ford Excursion is the king of big sport-utilities. Supremely stable at speed, it feels safe and secure on the open highway. Whether you have a lot of cargo to carry, a bunch of people to transport, a big trailer to pull, or all of the above, the Excursion is ready for whatever you throw its way. It can tow up to 11,000 pounds and seat 8-9.
A couple of weeks ago, I was hit in traffic by a guy in an Escalade..Mirror to Mirror....only damage i have is the orange turn signal lens on the drivers mirror is cracked and chipped...I go to Ford and replacement back cover is $106..I really dont NEED the whole cover, just the lens....does anyone know if it is possible to even get it? I have looked it over pretty good on the RH mirror which I replaced previously....
Second question....I have recently changed garage door openers to a new Genie with the rolling code and I am having a terrible time trying to get the Homelink feature to accept the programming....I cannot seem to get it to work on my 2007 Expedition EL either....anyone have any tips???
Last question...has anyone retrofitted their factory radio (six CD in dash) to add the ability to jack in their IPOD? I see some add ons on Ebay that might deal with the ability to run the DVD player in too...I have an aftermarket DVD because of the sunroof and have a lot of cables behind the radio from the DVD player..
Would love to know any suggestions on these items....
