Default Front End Noise

I had the same sound in my 01 about a year ago. I was told the bushing on the vertical stabilizer was bad and had it replaced. Solved the noise problem, but I've only put about 6k miles on it since and have had to replace it two more times. I being told that it is too close to the exhaust and the heat is melting the rubber bushing. Any thoughts?
