2000 excursion wont start help please 
all the sudden wont start. Its not the battery or the starter, it was tested. It was started by a friend who went underneath it and i think bipassed the starter or something. Im sorry im not sure how he did it. When I turn the key nothing happens you do hear a lite click in the hood somewre but thats it. All the dash lights and everything else come on just wont start. I was told it m ight be a security thing but the alarm was turned off by the people who owned it before us but when I turn offmy truck it does do a beeping sound still. Its now in the shop but they are stumped also. Please help any ideas would be helpful. Its our friends shop so I can have him check anything. Thanks so much
