 '03 or '05??
Hey folks,
I am new here. I am looking at purchasing either a 2003 Eddie Bauer 6.0 diesel with 135000 kms on it or a 2005 Limited 6.0 diesel with about 117000 kms on it.
The '03 had a new engine at 110000 km cause the old one caved due to the maintenance person now replacing the air filter during oil changes, only banging it out. Recently had all the ball joints replaced and has a 6 " lift kit on it.They are asking $21000
The '05 is chipped to get 75 hp more and better mileage, has a 4"styainless exhuast from front to back. also has a lift kit. They are asking $30000
I have read that the 03 diesels had some issues, but the engine was replaced with a new one in 2007, I would assume that they would use the latest 6 liter engine issues shouldn't be relevant.
