Default Power locks won't unlock?? Help??

My locks will lock, but not unlock from either passenger or driver side. Key fob works fine for both, but only way to unlock is to push the key fob. Very frustrating when I am trying to get my kids out and I haveto get back into the drivers seat and find the unlock button on the keyfob. I can't see it being the actuator or the button, because either side does not work. Am I missing something??

Ford seems to change the circuitry on these door lock systems from year to year. For anyone to give you an intelligent evaluation, they need to know the model year of the Excursion you have.

No need I fixed it....If you can believe it, I held the unlock button down, and in about 3 seconds they clicked and unlocked. They are working great now. Almost seemed like they had to be programmed or something

I have the exact same problem on a 2001 E150. I will try this fix the next time I get in the van. Hope it works
