You might want to check the voltage being fed to the window motors, and you may want to make sure the window guides are aligned properly. It could possibly be an aging window motor, but check the tracks first. Were the doors ever hit in an accident?

Default window guide alignment question

I have a 2001 sable and only the driver side window is slow. I know that door was hit, although I thought they replaced the door. I didn't own the car at that time but I can tell the door was painted.

Anyway, can you give some tips on checking if the window guides are properly aligned. I haven't had the door panel off yet.

thx,
rob
