Default 02 Excursion Rear A/C Problems

We bought our 02 new and have never had any problems. The other day we noticed that the rear a/c will not longer blow cold air but the front will. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Default same problem

Just bought an 03 x and have had the same problem. It is cold in the front but the rear air goes in and out from cold to warm. The air continues to blow but it just does not remain cold.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 03 was doing the same thing. Found a leak in the coolant line that supplies the rear system. The shop said this pipe was a 375 dollar part. I had it patched and it worked. They also said my expansion valve in the rear was bad. had that replaced and the air is nice and cold. Hope this helps.
