Default Tires and lift kit
I have a 00 Excursion and I'm intrested in lifting it a bit. Maybe 4-6 inches and my question is what is the biggest tire I can put on the stock 16/8 (five star) wheel?

I have an 01 2WD 7.3 and I can only find 6" lifts kits! I would love to find a leveling kit for it. Everywhere I look they have lift kits and leveling kits for 4WD but not 2WD. I have even considered air bags, but so far no luck. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Right now, my next step is to see what exactlt the difference is between a 2WD F-250 and the Excursion that prevents the leveling kit. I will be exploring changing the springs out and/or the shocks to get the lift in the front I want.
