Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Angry 1997 expedition 5.4L died while driving

I have a 1997 exp. 5.4 125,000 miles that died while driving down the road, just died like it ran out of gas. Checked fuel pressure, good 45psi, spark at all plugs, no codes, all sensor readings appear good on a scan tool. Replaced the TPS and ECT with Known good parts, blocked off the IAC and EGR valve to elliminate them. Truck runs fine as long as you put gas in through a vacuum line into the intake. If you hold the throttle all the way down sometimes it will barely run at about 250 rpm's.
1 month ago I replaced the fuel pump and filter for a different no start condition, since then it has ran flawlessly.
I know it is a injector spray(lack of) problem, but what is causing it ?????

Greetings: Hope some one was able to help you with this problem already. If not here's what happen to mine. There is "8 electrical coils" too each individual spark plug. You must of loss power to part of one or possibly all. With mine, I lost power to cilinder "number one". which kills the computer on board. This is a safety feature. You could try getting a diagnostics run on the vehicle the "electrical to the spark plugs is bad". Good luck.

PS: you can purchase this coils individually, go to any NApA AUTO PARTS . installation is very simple
the trick is having the electrical surge adjust by the onboard computer.
