99 Expedition Help!

I have recently replaced the front axle on the passenger side, the sway bar bushings, the lower ball joints.... and now the garages have no idea what my problem is. It sounds like something is rubbing. But with the sound you also get a jerking feel. It's really hard to explain, but I know it is coming from the front end. I know it's more than likely on the driver's side. I have been told it might be something to do with the AWD. I'm not sure if anyone has had similar problems, but any help is appreciated. I just can't afford to keep on fixing parts that aren't the problem.

Sounds like it could be a wheel hub... Just my opinion though.

Hello! Thank goodness someone else has this problem! I've been reading forever and finally I found some one with my problem!! I have a 2000 Expedition Eddie Bauer. One day I walked out to the car and it was sitting on it wheels. My compressor "o" ring was torn. So we fixed that, but since then - sometimes it airs up and sometimes it doesn't. Mostly it only partially up - causing my tires to rub on the wheel wells to the point that it has torn off the drivers side front inner lining that protects all your wires and stuff. Now - I have major electrical problems! the other day my steering all of a sudden had a lot of play in it (like as if I had turned off my suspension switch), then the windows rolled up and down by themselves, all the dash lights went off, hazzards turned on - not flashing, inside and out! and the door locks kept locking after you open them. For heavens sake help!!

Take it to the stealership. When you get wierd probblems like that, its best to take it to the dealership. All the parts you just replaced, well the dealer wont do that to you. You were paying the garages to guess what the problem is. I went through this with another car of mine. If the dealer doesnt know, they will tell you up front and say "we can replace this but cannot guarrantee if that will fix it" type stuff.

i just read at the end the abs light is on, the jerking feal could be your abs kicking on and off. Wild guess here.
