| 97 EXPED Lighting/ - A/C Blower Motor Problem!! Hey guys hope you can help me. I have a 1997 expedition and when I have the lights on....and turn the A/C or Heater Blower motor on is kicks of the lighting system....for example the turn signals will not work. But when i turn the system to off everything returns to normal. It seems as if a ground or something is off.
Thanks for your help, Brad |

| You Have a Bad Ground on your system. Best Bet ... Dealership. That way you know if fixed. As a firefighter i have seen these little problems turn into Fully involved car fires.

| I agree with ajpletrcher--a ground problem. Clean both battery terminals. Clean the connection between the negative cable and the body, the negative cable and the engine, the engine and the firewall. If that still doesn't fix it, clean the ground wires under the dash. Use a wire brush or steel wool and coat the connection with dielectric silicone grease after cleaning to prevent corrosion. |
