looking to install 2 x 12" subs and an amp into my 97 eddie bauer expedition. can i run it off the stock head or do i need an after market cd player? i want to keep the 6 cd changer i place so any help would be appreciated.

There's a wiring diagram in the back of the Haynes service manual. The existing sub is above the rear wheel well. You might be able to tie into that - but if you mess up you might be repacing more than you planned.
