Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

My guess would be when you disconnected the heater hoses the coolant in the hoses went straight doown an sat all around the #4 coil where over time it seeped into the #4 sparkplug hole thus causing your missfire.Remove the coil and plug and inspect it.

If you have sparkplug wires the coils are on the front of each head,if you have coil on plug they are on the plug.#1 clyinder is the most forward but not always on the same side and some are 1234 5678 1357 2468 I'm just trying to clear this up a little and not trying to sound like a know it all.

I don't think that coolant could "seap" past a threaded and tightened spark plug in a head. I do feel that u are correct about the coolant going straight down into that hole though. I bet the coolant has corroded the spark plug wire tip where it snaps onto the end of the spark plug. Make sure u add some diaelectric grease to the connections anytime u change wires/plugs....

So its been awhile..I did finally get all the plugs and cop's changed, oddly enough the 4 was one of the easy ones. took about 5 hours all together, and the 4 hole was full of water.. looked milky even. no idea what it was. I used a female hygiene product to stick down in it to dry it out.. yes I am a woman but it worked. Had to get something down there that wouldn't fall through. Anyway, the only real problem was that on the three I think, I couldn't get the screw started good when putting the new coil pack on.. its started at an angle. So, I guess I stripped it out and the pack wont lay flush how it should. but the truck has run fine no CEL everything was fine.. THEN tonight, I was backing into my drive and I guess was being to hurried and I braked and put it in reverse and well it all locked up.. truck died.. now wont fire at all.. not sure what happened.. maybe jumped time? anyway. if anyone knows anything else.please let me know. I will wait to make a new post. maybe I should. Oh and I have a step by step on the COP replacement if anyone needs it. shoot me a pm or mail.
