Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Angry Ford Expedition Caught on Fire

Okay my Dang 2001 XLT Caught on fire 2 night ago after being parked for Hr's 9. Fire Marshal says its accident electrical. I read on the Net Ford had a Recall on over 500K Vehicles for this problem. What do you know I never knew of this.

My Vehicle is prbly going to wrote off Ive been paying on this thing for almsot 4yrs now and was in the final year to pay it off. Now the Insurance company will prbly pay off the car. Where does that leave my Money? 4Yrs of payments ? These are the questions I have, right now at this time. I could care less about the insurance and all that stuff there going to pay each other off and they will prbly go after Ford, but seeing what I see on the net about the Ford Trucks having this problem they prbly got something worked out alrdy with insurance companies.

I wonder if I need an Attorney on this one? Anwser please or direct me to a site for anwsers.

First off I am sorry for your loss.It depends on what caused the fire.I guess you had full coverage right?Do you know what blue book value isbecause that is what they will base the value on..One of the added benifits for bringing your vehicle to the dealership for maintenece is the check for recalls

Yes I have full Coverage Ins on the truck, Bluebook Value for retail starting negotiation points will be 12.5 to 11.8. I owe 10.8 on the truck still. I did take the vehicle to the dealership about 1yr ago for some fixes but never did that conversation come up. Also I bought the truck the year the recalls went out. Thats another story though, so what do you think. They cut me a check for 1K to 2k so we can go back to payments for the next few years lol.
