Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Post 1998 Expd Air Suspension Ctrl Module
My 98 Expedition Rear Suspension Was Intermittently Working And Now Stopped Working Completely.every Thing Was Checked And The Control Module Looks To Be The Culprit.My Question Is Were Is It Located And If Its a remove & replace Type part or Must It Be Calibrated In Any Way.

I didn't know there was a control module. Just the air bags/springs, lines, compressor/drier assm., and relay....

Anyone else?

yea there is a rear air suspension module plus a height sensor.No calibration to my knowledge make sure you have checked the connection of the relay........

I just replaced both my airbags and all 4 shocks. I adjusted the ride hight sensor so that the rearend would sit up another inch. I also replaced the drier on the air compressor. If you need to buy new airbags get them at strutmasters.com. The dealer wanted to charge me 320 each plus 120 for each solenoid and 100 for the dryer. Strutmasters i got the airbags for 110 shipped each, got to use my existing solenoids, and i got the dryer for 45 shipped. It even came with all new orings for the solenoids. Did not know about a control module. Will have to look into that.

The control module is above and behind the radio. You need to remove the front part of the dash to get to it.
