|  2003 brakes
I have 2003 expedition with 52,000 miles-had a front and rear brake job done a week ago at Ford and now when I step on the brake pedal the car stops but with constant pressure on the pedal it goes down to the floor-If I let up on the pedal the brakes will engage but the pedal will then go down to the floorbor again-did not do this before the brake job. Ford says the brakes are fine and that what I am experiencing is normal operation and that the situation will improve as the brakes seat. So, is this normal and if not what is the problem |

"Ford says"...? Who are we talking about the dealership or did u call Ford Motor Co?
With brakes I'd get a 2nd opinion either way. Safety First buddy!!!

B.S. The pedal should never go to the floor. Sounds like they didn't do a good job on bleeding the system. | |

I just changed the brakes on my 03 this weekend they need to bleed them air pockets outa ya line. | |
