Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Default Do it Yourself Coils and Plugs

Can a person with little to no Auto Repair experience change coils and plugs themself?

I have a 2001 Expy 5.4 with 70K miles. It is missing badly and the exhaust smells funky. The CEL hasn't illuminated yet.

I do have mechanical aptitude, and have done things such as oil changes, after market catback installs, and filter charger installs. I have replaced one coil on #5, but it is the easy one (front right).

Conversely, what can I expect the dealer to charge for changing all 8 coils and plugs?

Thanks.
