Special tips to threading driver side rear brake line?

My driver side brake line burst about mid way down the frame of the truck. Is a miracle the thing lasted this long as it was severly rusted. Does anyone have any tips to how this thing can be threaded back in place. I have just ordered a replacement and have not yet pulled the bad one off. From the looks of it, the new one is going to have to bend and flex else there is no way a new one is going to be able to be put back where the old one came out. Looking for tips and information on if it is going to be ok to bend this thing a bit to get it on and threaded in correctly.

How did you resolve this ?

Just happened to me !?$&#@!! ... hoping it was just the hose, but no ...lines rusted bad.

My plan was to get straing brake lines from the Auto pats store, run it with minor bends and attached to all the harnesses/tubes that run along the fram and then connect to the equalizer block. I have to splice near the drivers door.

Is there a better way ???

Do you recall the fiting size and tube size ?
