Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Default Which rotor for 2001 Expedition

My front rotors are due for replacement. Should I go with Vented and Slotted or OEM rotors?? Prices are coming up $71 - $183 for each rotor. I have a 4x2 XLT

They vented/slotted rotors are for the "tuner" crowd, although they will help some if you do a lot of towing.

In my part of the country (MI), rust, in the form of pits, kills most rotors. And according to a guy who owns a brake shop and replaces more than a dozen rotor a week, they are almost all cast in China. (When oil was $140/barrel I thought a modern iron casting foundry might be worth while. I guess I'll have to wait until oil hits $140/barrel again ! I hope that is not soon !!!!)
