Ford ExpeditionTrue expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.
hello, I am new at this forum. I do have a problem with my 2005 expidition eddie bauer. If anyone can help me it would be great.
First problem is when I fill my gas tank up the fuel gage moves very slowly up till about 3/4 full then faults out and goes to empty for about 40 miles and the miles to go display also faults out. The dealer has replaced the sending unit in the tank and also hase replaced the instrument cluster and now they have no clue what it could be because there test all come out good. Also the miles to go gage is not acurate at all. At times when i come home from work it says I have 70 miles to go till empty the when I start it in the morning it will be at 150. If anyone has had a similar problem please respond...
Second I have a vibration while driving 79 MPH and above. The dealer has replaced the front rotors and replaced the front tires. The vibration went away for about 2 weeks but has returned. it isnt real bad but enough to shake steering wheel and the sun visors. You can also feel it in the brake and gas pedals. I really do enjoy this 2005 expidition and really want to get these problems fixed. It is the first SUV that I have owned. I bought it for the wife and she loves it.
