Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Default Installing mirror on 1999 expedition

I got my passenger mirror broken off of my 1999 expediton and want to replace it. I can buy the mirror on-line for 1/5 of what the dealerships want for itl. I have looked at taking my old mirror off, but can't seem to get the door panel off to get to all the attachment bolts. Of course I am being very careful, trying not to break anything. Is there a place I can get instructions on how to replace this mirror?

under the light cover at the bottem of door there is a 1.5 inch screw and lift the power window controler panel out.(it should just pop up) under the door handle that you use to close the door is another screw. remove these two and lift the door panel up . pull the door latch handle out (like you are opening the door) while lifting also once door panel is over door latch handle twist the light wire out of the box where you took out the 1.5 inch screw so you dont break the wire that should do it
