Ford ExpeditionTrue expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.
I need help bigtime.... My 1998 Expedition is in trouble... Its an Eddie Bauer edition 4 WD i got diagnostic checks ran and it says O2 Sensore or the MAF sensor...... When it Idles under 1RPM it will shut off..... In the heat we are having i tried to start it and it would go right back off, i had to gas it just to get it to stay on. Does anyone have any Advice..... It is horrible. Almost died trying to take it to the Cincinnati Reds game lastnight. Anything will be greatly appreciated. Thank YOu
If your truck won't idle by it's self. Your IAC valve plunger is probably stuck.
The IAC idle air control valve controls the idle speed. You can try cleaning it with WD40 to loosen it up.
Another thing to do is clean your MAF sensor wires. Use CRC's MAF spray.
