Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Default How tall of jack stands will I need...

to get the expedition high enough off the ground to do a front and rear suspension conversion? I have some 18" ones but I have a feeling I will need something taller since it seems you need the suspension to be fully descended. Anyone have any idea?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but if your having trouble figuring that out, should you be taking on such a task? Just thinking of your safety, don't want you to win a Darwin award.

I'm not retarded dude. Just a simple question, that requires a simple answer. This isn't rocket science, I just wanted to know the answer without having to go out in the pouring rain and figure it out myself.

Well you were right, after I someone how messed up a bolt on conversion my suspension blew off and i drove off the edge of the grand canyon. Now I'm skewered on a cactus after a 5000 foot fall, all because I didn't heed your advice.

Next time you think about being condescending under the guise of being helpful, just stfu please.

Hey JACK-HOLE!!

I think you need to find another Ford site!! Your responces are not taken lightly around here!!

IMHO "Expedition2000", if you can't figure this one out, I also feel you shouldn't be taking on this suspension project....

Come on MOD'S remove or at LEAST warn this jack-hole!!

Expedition2000 please refrain from the harsh comments please, consider this a warning.

99Expy was just trying to help you out since 99Expy did not know your skill level. Usually with questions like you asked I would of told you to have an expert work on your vehicle too.

TBIRD430 thank you!
