Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Default 07 expedition.... how to check trans fluid?
hello, new to forum and i pre thank you for any help.
My wife has a 07 expedition EL 4x4, 5.4L.
She says it has been shifting funny so I went and popped the hood to check tranny fluid,but to my suprise no dipstick.
Anyone know how to check the fluid as the manual says there is no dipstick for tranny fluid, yet doesnt tell you how to check it.
55,000 miles, its a lease and the warranty is up, I am completely lost.
Any help appreciated,thanks

I thought the expeditions had a little dipstick down by the tranny where the dipstick tube would enter tne transmission.It woukd be under a 19mm nut shaped cover.Remove the nut and there should be a little bitty dipstick.
