Ford Expedition True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these. Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards. The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing.

Angry Check Engine - Hit the Jackpot - 1997 5.4L

Very recently, coming home through the mountains, my Check Engine light came on, the puppy started missing terribly and I had to baby it about 70 miles on in to home. It has 103,000 miles. Stopped at my local Parts House and they put an OBD II on it and came up with six, yes 6 DTCs. PO303- #3 Cyl Misfire, PO402- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Excessive Detected, PO171 - System too Lean (Bank #1), PO172 - System too Rich (Bank #1), PO174 - System too Lean (Bank #2), PO175 - System too Rich (Bank #2). I think I know what the misfire is, because it acts like when I had a Coil Pack fail on Cyl #1 about 40K miles ago. In fact this will be (if that's the problem) the 3rd pack I've replaced in those last 40K miles. Can anyone tell me if you feel the other codes have to do with loading the engine up while climbing those grades in the mountains?? AND if you feel once I replace the coil pack (and if it runs okay) that the other DTCs will clear themselves once the Check Engine light is reset? These parts aren't cheap (The EGRV is $125.00 and Coil Pack $70.00). Thanks for your thoughts.
